Ways to Help

1. Donate

Help secure more staff for the CPO

Donate to the Child Protection Office to assist in the development of the office – to ensure better prevention, education, and response to child maltreatment.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Child Protection Office relies on the contributions of individuals such as you to ensure that we can retain qualified personnel committed to consistently providing the services that prevent and stop child abuse.

Together, we can create a safer society for the most precious and vulnerable members – Krishna’s children.

Monthly Donor Goal

Our fundraising goal is 500 monthly donations of $25. This will enable us to secure valuable staff members. Namely an Office Manager, a Training Coordinator, and a Victim Support Coordinator.

Investing in the Future

For the Child Protection Office to be self-sustaining into the future, with your help we can establish an endowment. This will provide an operational budget in perpetuity. You can contribute though CDs, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, etc. You can also include the CPO in you Will.

  • Make sure your local management, school and places of worship implement appropriate restrictions with regard to offenders.
  • Ask your local management to highlight the importance of child protection in classes and events.

Protect Your Children

  • At the temple and other programs, make sure your children are always with a trusted adult. Encourage your peers to do the same.
  • Educate your children on personal safety.
  • Know who your children are associating with.

Support Victims of Child Abuse

  • Believe them when they tell you they have been abused.
  • Report any concerns that you have about child abuse or neglect.
  • Advocate for victims of abuse.
  • Learn the art of listening and lend your ear to a survivor.
  • Break the cycle of abuse. Help an offender get what they need to be safe for others.

“The protection of children gives the human form of life its best chance to prepare the way of liberty from material bondage. ”
